Ibiquity Digital and Philips have signed a new agreement to pursue next-generation Philips HD Radio baseband chips to succeed the SAF3550 IC currently in the market.
“We feel very positive about the future of the HD Radio market,” stated Stephan zur Verth, vice president and manager for car entertainment solutions, Philips Semiconductors.
