The Intercollegiate Broadcasting System announced its winners and runners-up for the Student Radio Awards, presented during the group’s annual conference recently held in New York.
Awards for best college stations went to:
Abraham & Borst Award for Best Overall Radio Station in the Nation: WUTM – University of Tennessee – Martin
Best College/University Station (over 10,000 students): WPSC – William Paterson University, Wayne, N.J.
Best College/University Station (under 10,000 students): WUTM – University of Tennessee – Martin
Best Community College Radio Station: KFJC – Foothill College, Los Altos Hills, Calif.
Best Streaming Only Radio Station: Radio DePaul – DePaul University, Chicago
Other award categories covered a variety of studio operations and programming, including sports, on-air personalities, news, promotions and multimedia.
