International Datacasting Corp. said its PROFLine subsidiary in Europe has an order from broadcaster Radio Contact in Belgium to supply equipment for a major satellite radio network upgrade.
“The order calls for the delivery of PROFLine’s next generation Digital Video Broadcast (DVB) satellite receivers based on the new High Efficiency Advanced Audio Coding industry-standard MPEG4 HE AAC and specifically designed for the professional radio broadcast market,” IDC stated.
“PROFLine’s equipment will be used to upgrade the Radio Contact network, primarily in Belgium, and will replace an older generation of technology.”
