The 50th Annual Broadcast Symposium, presented by the Institute of Electrical Electronics Engineers Broadcast Technology Society will be held at the Sheraton Premiere Hotel at Tysons Corner in Vienna, Va. on Sept. 28 and 29.
Preceding the symposium will be an engineering tutorial, also on Sept. 27.
For radio, the topic will be a presentation and panel discussion about the controversial Crossed Field Antenna. Results of detailed engineering studies including a finite element analysis will be disclosed.
IEEE BTS aims to present the latest technical developments in radio and television broadcast transmission engineering through its annual symposium and its publications.
