Pride Radio St. Louis is iHeartMedia’s fourth station targeting local LGBT listeners and allies. The station went on the air June 22 at 2 p.m. local time.
“It’s Pride Week in St. Louis, and as the exclusive radio partner of Pride STL, we can’t think of a better time to launch Pride Radio St. Louis,” said iHeartMedia St. Louis Senior Vice President of Programming Tony Banks.
“Our city has one of the most passionate LGBT communities in America, and we look forward to an even greater bond with our local listeners as they engage with Pride Radio St. Louis’ on-air personalities and programming, customized for our city.”
Pride Radio St. Louis is the broadcast extension of the iHeartRadio streaming station Pride Radio, which the company says is consistently one of the platform’s most listened-to dance hit and remix stations.
