Cat Collins
Cat Collins joins iHeartMedia’s national programming platforms and strategic services teams. He will report to Tom Poleman, president of national programming platforms, and Clay Hunnicutt, executive vice president and general manager for national programming platforms.
Collins will work with local stations to strengthen and develop programming and to engage listeners. He will continue in his roles as brand manager for rhythmic contemporary hit radio, serving as iHeartMedia’s in-house programming expert for the format, and as program director for Premium Choice. He most recently served as PD for KYLD(FM) and KIOI(FM) in San Francisco, and iHeartMedia San Francisco will begin an active search for a program director for KYLD and KIOI.
Delilah
In other programming news, Lincoln Financial Media adult contemporary station KIFM(FM) says it has made a change to its weeknight lineup, adding Premiere Networks nationally-syndicated personality Delilah and her eponymous program. Premiere Networks is owned by iHeartMedia.
The “Delilah” show features storytelling, listening and encouragement, as well as music. It attracts millions of listeners on more than 150 radio stations, making her the most-listened-to woman on radio in the U.S., according to a release. Delilah airs from 6 p.m. to midnight, Monday through Friday.
Hattiesburg, Tenn.-based station WNSL(FM) says Premiere-syndicated “The Johnjay & Rich Show” will join the station’s weekday lineup from 6–10 a.m. (CST).
“The Johnjay & Rich Show” combines pop culture, news and events, welcoming a wide range of music artists, newsmakers and celebrities. Joined on-air by Kyle, the show is a special brand of “reality radio,” with listeners engaged and interacting with the crew via every form of social media – Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook, email and text messaging.
