IHeartMedia Announces Colorado and Connecticut Changes

Hartford cluster also announces return of on-air talent

IHeartMedia has named Josh Everett as program director of KHOW(AM) and KKZN(AM) in Denver, effective July 1. Also, iHeartMedia Connecticut says Zac Davis has been named program director for KISS 95.7 and KC101, effective June 15. The Hartford cluster also announced that Cory Myers will return to “Broadway’s Electric Barnyard” as its new co-host weekday mornings.

Everett will be responsible for managing consumer outreach efforts for TalkRadio 630 KHOW and Real Talk 760 in the Denver market. As PD, he will lead the programming and on-air team to create and deliver content that reaches consumers on-air, online, social media, personalities and live events, a release explains.

Everett most recently served as program and news director for iHeartMedia’s WGY(AM/FM) and WOFX(AM) in the Albany, N.Y., market. Prior to that he was program director of iHeartMedia’s WLAP(AM) in Lexington, Ky. He will report to Greg Foster, vice president, news/talk/sports programming for iHeartMedia Denver.

IHeartMedia Denver includes KOA(AM), KHOW, KKZN, KBCO(FM), KBPI(FM), KPTT(FM), KRFX(FM), KTCL(FM), Denver Broncos Radio Network, Colorado Rockies Radio Network and University of Colorado Sports Network.

In Connecticut, Zac Davis will lead the programming and on-air team to create and deliver unique content for KISS(FM) and WKCI(FM).

Davis most recently served as iHeartMedia Myrtle Beach;’s senior vice president of programming. He has also served as PD for WDCG(FM) in Raleigh, N.C.; operations manager of Max Media’s KDHT(FM) and KJHM(FM) in Denver; with roles at stations including WRDU(FM) in Raleigh; WABB(FM) in Mobile, Ala.; WGBT(FM) in Greensboro, N.C.; KOSO(FM) in Modesto, Calif.; and WBVD(FM) in Melbourne, Fla.

Cory Myers will join Broadway and co-host Jordan from 6–10 a.m., Monday to Friday. He will help entertain listeners with entertainment and country music news, celebrity guests and regular features such as “Milking the Nashville Bull” gossip, the popular “Prayer Request Wednesday” and “The Feel-Good Story of the Day.”

IHeartMedia Connecticut includes KISS(FM), WKCI(FM), WWYZ(FM), WHCN(FM), WUCS(FM), WPOP(AM), WELI(AM) and ESPN Radio 1300AM.

IHeartMedia Norfolk, Va., announced Corey Crockett as new night host and Tyler Layne as late night host on WNOH(FM). Crockett will host evening from 6–10 p.m., beginning June 1, and “Tyler’s Trending” will air evenings from 10 p.m. to midnight, effective immediately.

Crockett is a recent Syracuse University graduate and former GM of WJPZ(FM) and will join NOW 105 from weekends at iHeartMedia Syracuse’s Top 40 WWHT.

Layne is a Hampton Roads native, recording artist. He also has more than 300,000 social media followers.

IHeartMedia Norfolk owns and operates WOWI(FM), WHBT(FM), WNOH(FM) and WMOV(FM).
