iHeartMedia Chicago announced Joel Kelly has been named VP of sales for the Chicago Region, and iHeartMedia Portland has tapped Susan Reynolds for marketing/promotions director
In his new role, Kelly will work with the sales team to create marketing opportunities for clients through on-air, online, social media, personalities and live events.
Kelly joined iHeartMedia Chicago in 2014 as general sales manager after serving three years as a senior account executive at WUSN(FM) and local sales manager at WBBM(AM) in Chicago. He also spent seven years as an account executive for iHeartMedia San Diego. Prior to his career in media, Kelly worked as an athlete manager for Imani Sports representing professional athletes.
iHeartMedia Chicago owns and operates WKSC(FM), WLIT(FM/HD), WEBG(FM), WVAZ(FM), WGCI(FM) and WGRB(AM).
Susan Reynolds will be responsible for overseeing marketing and promotions for the region’s nine brands, and she will collaborate with programming departments to promote events on air and online.
She previously worked as a freelance publicist for various lifestyle clients. She also served as a talk show producer for CJAD(AM), Montreal; director of marketing and promotion for Alpha Media’s Portland cluster; and marketing/promotions director for KSOL(FM) in San Francisco.
iHeartMedia Portland owns and operates KEX(AM), KFBW(FM), KFBW(HD3), KKCW(FM), KKRZ(FM), KLTH(FM), KPOJ(AM) and KXJM(FM).
