iHeartMedia Names Fletcher and Miller PDs

Derrick Cole takes over in Wilmington

iHeartMedia says Dustin Fletcher has been named program director of KLLT(FM) in St. Louis, which launched Oct. 18. Also, Mike Miller has been named program director and afternoon drive host for Baltimore’s WZFT(FM), effective Dec. 12. Derrick Cole has been appointed as senior vice president of programming for the Wilmington, Del., market.

Fletcher will work closely with on-air personalities, as well as sales to oversee on-air, digital and music programming for Alt 104.9 and its local events. He will report to Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis A.J.

Fletcher recently served as program director and midday host for for iHeartMedia Richmond’s WRXL/XL102 and WRVQ(HD2)/96.1 The Planet. Fletcher has previously worked at WFNX(FM) in Boston; WFXH(FM) in Savannah, Ga.; WDYL(FM) in Richmond, Va.; and WNFZ(FM) in Knoxville, Tenn.

Miller will be responsible for day-to-day programming operations for WZFT(FM). He will work with on-air personalities and sales to oversee the on-air content, digital footprint and music programming.

Miller began his career at age 16 at WLAN(FM) in Lancaster, Pa., and two years later, helped launch iHeartMedia Harrisburg’s WHKF(FM) in 2001. He most recently served as PD and p.m. drive host for the station. His 17+ years of experience in the radio industry also includes serving as assistant program director and afternoon on-air personality for KKRZ(FM) in iHeartMedia’s Portland market.

In Delaware, Derrick Cole is the new senior vice president of programming for the iHeartMedia Wilmington market.

Cole has management and on-air experience in a number of markets, including WKSI(FM) in Winchester, Va., WLAN(AM/FM) in Lancaster, Pa., and WVRT(FM) in Williamsport, Pa.
