IHeartMedia New York Names President

Scott Hopeck will lead broadcast, digital, mobile, social and live event efforts

IHeartMedia says Scott Hopeck has been named president of its New York market, effective immediately. He will report to Executive Vice President of Operations Hartley Adkins.

The company says that in this new leadership role he will work closely with advertising and marketing partners to create and deliver opportunities to reach consumers through iHeartMedia New York’s assets, including on-air, online, social media promotions, personality endorsements and live event integrations.

Hopeck is a 20-year media veteran with experience in digital, sports, marketing and revenue. He has been with iHeartMedia for more than 10 years, most recently serving as market president for iHeartMedia Phoenix. Prior to iHeartMedia, Hopeck held positions at CBS Radio and Viacom.

“Scott’s unique skills and experience in digital and technology are perfect for the evolution of this market from traditional media to world-class multiplatform media with a tremendous impact on advertisers,” said Adkins. “Additionally, his sports and MLB experience is ideal for the important and unique opportunities we have in New York.”
