IHeartMedia San Francisco has named John Leathers as its new vice president of sales. The cluster also announced that Mark Adams has been named program director for KIOI(FM) and KYLD(FM).
As vice president of sales, Leathers will oversee all sales operations for the six-station cluster. He has more than 25 years of experience in the radio industry and most recently served as VP and market manager at Digity Silicon Valley. Prior to that, he served as the market manager at NextMedia for more than nine years. Leathers also held previous positions at Bonneville Radio San Francisco and Clear Channel.
Adams will join the San Francisco team from iHeartMedia Portland, where he most recently served as vice president of programming. Prior to joining iHeartMedia he was VP of music programming at CBS Radio in Houston. Adam’s industry experience also includes previous roles in the San Francisco, Milwaukee and Fresno, Calif., markets.
IHeartMedia Portland has begun a nationwide search for a vice president of programming.
