San Antonio Names Micki Gamez assistant program director for Hot 104.5

IHeartMedia Seattle says Rich Davis has been named vice president of programming and program director for KISS(FM), effective immediately.

As VP of programming, Davis will oversee all programming operations for the Seattle cluster’s seven stations.

He joins iHeartMedia Seattle from the Minneapolis market, where he most recently served as program director of KDWB(FM) since December of 2011 and PD of KTCZ(FM) since August of 2013. In addition, Davis also previously served as operations manager of iHeartMedia’s five-station cluster in Nashville from August 2007–December 2011 and was the PD of Nashville’s WRVW(FM). Prior to Nashville, he held programming positions in Madison, Wis., Baltimore, Philadelphia and Allentown, Pa.

Eric Powers will continue to program KUBE(FM).

In other company news, iHeartMedia San Antonio says Micki Gamez has been named assistant program director for KZEP(FM)/Hot 104.5, effective Jan. 19.

Gamez will continue hosting middays from 10 a.m.–3 p.m. and will report to Paula Newell, KZEP program director and vice president of programming.

IHeartMedia San Antonio owns and operates KAJA(FM), KQXT(FM), KQXT(HD), KRPT(FM), KTKR(AM), KXXM(FM), KZEP and WOAI(AM).

IHeartMedia Seattle owns and operates KISS, KUBE, KJR(FM), KYNW(FM), KKBW(FM), KBKS(FM) and KJR(AM).
