IHeartMedia Taps Three Market Presidents

Saunders, McCausland and Hotchkiss take on new responsibilities

IHeartMedia says Matt Saunders has been named market president of its Springfield, Ill., market; Jeff McCausland has been named market president of its Wichita, Kan., market; and Keith Hotchkiss has been named Charlotte, N.C.’s market president.

Saunders will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Springfield’s operation across its multiple platforms. He will work with advertising and marketing partners to create and deliver opportunities to reach their consumers through iHeartMedia Springfield’s on-air and online assets, social media promotions, personality endorsements and live event integrations, according to a release.

He has had more than 25 years of experience in the radio industry and has been with iHeartMedia for three years, most recently serving as the vice president of sales in St. Louis. During his time in St. Louis he also held management positions at CBS Radio, Sinclair and Emmis.

IHeartMedia Springfield includes KTOZ(FM), KXUS(FM), KSWF(FM), KGBX(FM) and KGMY(AM).

McCausland will be responsible for overseeing Wichita’s operations across its multiple platforms. He will work with advertising and marketing partners to create and deliver opportunities to reach consumers.

McCausland joins iHeartMedia Wichita with more than 25 years of broadcasting experience. He began his career at iHeartMedia Wichita’s KRBB(FM) in 1990 as part of the sales team and was soon promoted. He went on to join KSAS(TV) as a local sales manager and then took on roles as national sales manager, general sales manager and director of sales. McCausland most recently served as the GM of KSAS and KMTW(TV) for Sinclair Broadcast Group.

IHeartMedia Wichita includes KZCH(FM), KRBB(FM), KZSN(FM) and KTHR(FM) .

Hotchkiss will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Charlotte’s operation across its multiple platforms. He will work with advertising and marketing partners to create and deliver opportunities to reach consumers through iHeartMedia Charlotte’s assets.

Throughout his nearly 17-year career with iHeartMedia, he has built teams that drive revenue, a release said. Most recently serving as senior vice president of sales, he also previously served as general sales manager in Cleveland/Akron, Ohio.

IHeartMedia Charlotte includes WEND(FM), WRFX(FM), WHQC(FM), WLKO(FM), WRFX(FM) and WKKT(FM).
