iHeartRadio’s Auto App Integrates Two New Features

Drivemode and MirrorLink’s RockScout are now compatible with the Auto App

The iHeartRadio Auto App is now compatible with Drivemode and MirrorLink’s RockScout apps. The company says it’s a move to create a more safety-minded driving approach when using the app on the road.

With the new update, users have the ability to connect the iHeartRadio app with a MirrorLink-compatible car so they can view the app’s features through their car’s dashboard screen. MirrorLink developed an eponymous car infotainment system-smartphone interface.

The integration of the Drivemode app brings a platform to allow drivers to use gesture and voice response technology via Bluetooth or an auxiliary cable to navigate the iHeart app.

To make the iHeartRadio Auto App work with the two new updates, users must download both the RockScout and Drivemode apps.

The iHeartRadio app for smartphone Android users gives drivers access to live broadcast radio, custom artist stations and personalized station features.
