Illbruck Acoustic Standardizes Natural Gray as Willtec Foam Color

Illbruck Acoustic debuted natural gray as the standard color for Willtec, the core material in its acoustical products.
These are used for wall panels, baffles and other industrial uses. Products include SonexClassic panels, SonexOne panels and baffles and other Sonex brands.
The company says the exposed interior color matches the exterior color should they be cut, broken or marred.
Willtec is made from lightweight, porous melamine foam and is Class 1 fire-rated. The foam can be exposed to constant temperatures up to 300 degrees F., and short-term temperatures up to 482 degrees. It will char, but not ignite, at temperatures up to 1,120 degrees Fahrenheit. Noise reduction coefficients are from 0.75 to 1.05, depending on product thickness and surface finish.
