Public comments on the FCC’s indecency questions must be filed by May 20. Replies to GN Docket 13-86 are due June 18.
We previously reported that when the commission announced it had cleared some 70% of its broadcast indecency complaint backlog, the agency also asked for comment on whether it should adopt an “egregious cases” policy.
The commission also asked for comment on how the agency should treat fleeting expletives.
The public was invited to comment on this as well as any other aspect of the commission’s indecency policies.
