Independent Audio, a variegated audio equipment distributor based in Portland, Maine, has added broadcast processor builder Audessence to its stable of companies.
Audessence is based in Heyward’s Heath, England. Its Director Graham Sloggett said: “Independent Audio was selected as our exclusive U.S. distributor because of its product marketing expertise, nationwide presence and established broadcast dealer network in the U.S.A.”
Audessence makes the ALPS line of processors along with RDS/RBDS encoders. Independent Audio known to broadcasters as the U.S. distributor for Sonifex among other product lines.
