Indian mobile telecom Reliance Mobile is offering BBC World Service content to mobile phone subscribers via the Reliance R-World VAS platform.
Via R-World VAS, Reliance subscribers will be able to listen to BBC World Service news live in a choice of five different languages, seven days a week. Programming will rotate among English, Hindi, Tamil, Urdu and Bangla at set times throughout the day.
The services is accessed by calling a special phone number, 51234378, while on the Reliance Mobile network.
