Tech company marketers Neil Glassman and Bob Martin have begun a blog that they say can help broadcast, professional audio and installed sound companies survive the economic downturn.
“The WhizBang•PowWow” launched this week. Discussions aim to generate creative ideas for companies that sell audio technology products and services.
Upcoming topics include marketing in a recession, product naming, getting coverage in trade periodicals, electronic vs. print advertising and a branding boot camp.
Martin is principal of RTM & Associates Inc. in Rochester, N.Y.; Glassman manages a strategy and marketing consultancy from New York City. They’ve done marketing campaigns for companies such as Sennheiser, Neumann, Comrex, Broadcast Electronics, Telos Systems, Fiberplex, Anderson Stringed Instruments and BSW.
