WUSN(FM) will carry the Indy 500 on its HD2 multicast channel.
The CBS station in Indianapolis said this “will be the first motorsports event in America to be multi-cast on high definition, the new standard of radio broadcasting.”
Dave Robbins is director of digital programming for CBS Radio and VP of WUSN. “Motorsports is a perfect fit for the enhanced sound quality provided by HD Radio,” he said in the announcement.
