Infinity Realigns Managers

Infinity Broadcasting has realigned the regional leadership of its radio market operations and eliminated its central region. President/COO of Viacom’s radio division Joel Hollander announced the changes. He publicized the first phase of Infinity’s restructuring in July when he appointed Scott Herman as EVP, Eastern Region.
This week, Lisa Decker and Don Bouloukos have been named to the newly created positions of vice president, Eastern mid-size markets, and vice president, Western mid-size markets, respectively. They will report to Hollander.
The central region has been eliminated. Herman will continue to oversee operations of large markets in the eastern region. Brian Ongaro, previously executive vice president of the central region, has been named executive vice president, western region, overseeing large markets from Chicago West. Herman and Ongaro report to Hollander.
Infinity considers New York and Los Angeles stations to be stand-alone regions and managers in those markets will continue to report to Hollander.
“Under this structure, we have put in place a management team that complements the strengths of our executives and leverages our presence in the major markets,” said Hollander. Decker, who will be responsible for operations in Fresno, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Portland, Riverside, Sacramento, San Diego and Seattle, has been Infinity’s Market Manager in Seattle for five years. Decker, a veteran of more than 20 years in the radio industry, will be based in Seattle.
Bouloukos returned to Infinity Broadcasting in July 2003 as Philadelphia market manager. He continues in that role, and will now oversee station operations in Buffalo, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Greensboro, Memphis and Rochester. He will be based in Philadelphia and New York.
