Manufacturer Inovonics Inc. named Lukas Hurwitz as sales/marketing manager.
“Lukas takes this position with years of experience in business-to-business sales for small and medium-sized companies,” Inovonics stated in the announcement. “He has build a reputation for honesty, integrity and for developing customer-focused relationships.”
An accomplished violinist, Hurwitz is a graduate of Eastman School of Music at the University of Rochester, N.Y., and has performed with numerous city orchestras and film score studios in New York, New England and California, according to Inovonics. He has a background in computer sales with Toshiba and years ago worked for Inovonics for a summer in its production department.
“Mr. Hurwitz will be using his abilities both as a salesperson and professional musician to bring a combination of skills and understanding to the broadcast market,” the company stated. Inovonics was founded in 1972 by Jim Wood and Mark Drake. It makes RDS gear, audio processors, monitors, stereo encoders and other gear.
