Interference Concerns About Digital Remain

Interference remains a major worry for critics of the HD Radio system and IBOC. Several commenters to the FCC suggest the commission establish a clear definition of what constitutes interference and how that interference could be mitigated for AM IBOC operation, before approving a standard.
Leonard Kahn, in his filing, supports his Cam-D system for AM digital, and asks whatever happened to his suggestion that the FCC form a blue ribbon panel of advisors to replace the NRSC.
Several NRSC members declined to comment on these and other filings, noting that the comment period is still open.
