The NAB Education Foundation has created an internship program “for women and people of color who are interested in careers related to technology and engineering in radio and television.”

The program is designed to reinforce diversity efforts by increasing the number of women and people of color entering broadcast engineering. The internships are open to college seniors and recent graduates.

“The program is intended for highly motivated individuals, particularly those interested in working with digital audio and video, computer technology, and HD Radio or digital television,” NABEF stated. “Qualified candidates for positions in broadcast technologies are in high demand and the internship is an excellent opportunity for participants to gain greater understanding and hands-on experience with the new technologies involved in the broadcast industry.”
