Total Broadcast Consultants has become the distributor in Ireland for IP-Audio console and router equipment from Axia Audio.
“Having studied the latest developments in broadcast technology, we believe that Axia represents the future in digital studio functionality and connectivity ? and we want to be part of that future,” said Total Broadcast Consultants Director Andy Linton.
Axia IP-Audio systems available through the Waterford, Ireland-based consultancy will enable Irish broadcasters to build audio networks of any size using standard switched Ethernet.
Axia networks have a total system capacity of more than 10,000 audio streams and are able to carry several hundred digital stereo channels or nearly 100 surround channels over a single Cat6 cable.
