It’s Seacrest at KIIS(FM)

Ryan Seacrest is taking all the great radio jobs.
At least it seems that way. Seacrest, who recently landed Casey Kasem’s seat at “American Top 40,” will replace Rick Dees in the morning at Clear Channel’s big KIIS(FM) in Los Angeles.
Seacrest continues as host and executive producer of 20th Century Fox’s daily “On Air with Ryan Seacrest,” and host of “American Idol” and “American Top 40 with Ryan Seacrest.”
“Upon Ryan’s debut on AT40,” the company stated, “it has been the fastest initial launch of any program in Premiere Radio Networks’ history.”
The KIIS morning show will originate from Seacrest’s studio.
Dees has been with the station since 1982. He continues to host “Rick Dees Weekly Top 40.”
