The joint chairman of the NAB is the new chairman of the board at BMI.
Jack Sander is the new chairman of the BMI board of directors. He is former vice chair of Belo Corp. succeeds Chairman Cecil L. Walker. He will hold the position of chairman for a three-year term.
Sander is currently senior advisor to Belo.
BMI was founded by broadcast executives in 1939 and is a performing right organization that represents 350,000 songwriters, composers and publishers.
