Jaguar Re-commits to Featuring HD Radio

An earlier planned launch didn't happen

Jaguar said at the Chicago Auto Show that it will offer HD Radio receivers across its 2010 product line. HD Radio receivers will be factory installed in the XK hitting dealerships in summer 2009, and followed later in the year by the XF sport sedan.

The automaker didn’t say whether the radios would be standard or an option.

This is the second announced launch of HD Radio for Jaguar. In 2007 we reported the automaker planned to introduce the technology in model year 2008 in its redesigned 2008 XJ Sedan; but that didn’t happen.

Other auto brands offering HD Radio receivers include Audi, BMW, Ford, Hyundai, Kia, Lincoln, Mercedes, Mercury, Mini, Scion and Volvo.
