Jennifer Nettles to Perform at Radio Show

The Radio Show has announced the musical guest for the 2016 NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show. Jennifer Nettles will perform at the Thursday, Sept. 22, event.

Nettles came into the public eye in 2004 as the lead vocalist of Sugarland. She also has released two solo albums, the most recent of which is “Playing With Fire,” released in May 2016. Nettles has also appeared on Broadway as Roxy Hart in Chicago, has also acted in NBC’s “Coat of Many Colors” and hosted ABC’s “CMA Country Christmas” special.

“Jennifer Nettles is a truly phenomenal country music performer, with awards and accolades recognizing both her voice and songwriting abilities,” said NAB Executive Vice President of Radio John David. “We thank Big Machine Label Group and Scott Borchetta for connecting us and look forward to what will surely be an unforgettable performance.”

Sponsored by HD Radio, the Marconi Radio Awards will be held at the Omni Nashville Hotel. Scott Shannon will serve as the event’s emcee.

The 2016 Radio Show will be held Sept. 21–23 in Nashville.
