Salem Communications has promoted Joe Davis to executive vice president and chief operating officer of the company. Davis has been executive vice president of radio since 2003.
Davis will oversee Salem Communication’s business lines including radio broadcasting, news, music and talk programming, network syndication, and non-broadcast activities that include Salem Publishing and Salem Web Network. Davis will continue to report to Edward Atsinger III, president and chief executive officer.
Davis began his career with Salem Communications in 1989 as general manager of WMCA(AM), New York.
