John Bisset Joins Elenos USA

Company aiming to expand North American presence

Seeking to expand its footprint in the U.S. market further, FM transmitter manufacturer Elenos USA has added to its staff.

The company, based in Miami, has hired John Bisset as director of technical services and education. It recently named Mary Ann Seidler as director of North American sales. Elenos has manufactured transmitters in Europe for 35 years.

Bisset has worked for transmitter companies Harris, Broadcast Electronics and Nautel, as well as Tieline Technology (where he worked earlier with Seidler) and other manufacturers. He writes Radio World’s Workbench column and is a past recipient of the SBE Educator of the Year award.

Elenos was founded in 1977. It recently announced that it wants to take a higher profile in the North American RF market.
