J-P Enjoys Good Second Quarter

Jefferson-Pilot Communications said it enjoyed an excellent second quarter, with earnings up 10 percent to $11.6 million compared to last year’s Q2.
The group owns 17 radio stations and three TV stations. Earnings grew 9 percent for the entire first half.
