In an effort to broaden its musical selection and attract all age groups, Jones Radio Networks said it has revamped its Classic Hits format to include a blend of rock, pop/rock and crossover artists, as well as popular music from the 1970s and ’80s.
Phil Barry, vice president and general manager of JRN, said the change comes after research and discussions with current and potential customers, who tend to fall in the middle of the 25-54 demographic.
JRN hopes the revised format will draw young and more-mature listeners when it debuts in early December.
