JVC rolled out its second-generation HD Radio CD Receiver.
The KD-HDR1 includes a multi-cast capable HD Radio tuner and is ready for satellite radio or iPod; it allows iPod connection, recharging and information display using JVC’s KS-PD100 adapter.
Other features include a Digital Integrated Alignment System tuner, which is based on a unified chip rather than a hard-wired analog tuner to deliver what the manufacturer says is improved reception with minimum interference and signal fades.
Digital 7-band iEQ lets users boost or cut the level by up to 10 dB on each of seven bands to customize the response to a car’s environment.
The JVC KD-HDR1 will be available in March and lists for around $300.
