Randy Carroll, morning show host for KAJA(FM) in San Antonio, will be saluted for 30 years of service on Dec. 10, at the annual KJ 97 Star Party.
Carroll started in 1983 at the station. He now co-hosts “KJ and Friends Morning Show.”
Carroll snagged the 2012 Country Music Association Large Market Personality of the Year Award along with his morning show co-host Jamie Martin.
KAJA PD Travis Moon said, “It is an honor to get the opportunity to work with a true country radio legend in Randy Carroll … He is a huge part of country music history in San Antonio. I can’t put into words how special it is for our community to have Randy as an important piece of our history.”
Carroll is from the area, a native of nearby Pleasanton, Texas. The country music-formatted KAJA is a Clear Channel property.
