In a Q&A with the Wall Street Journal, Viacom/Infinity President and Co-COO Mel Karmazin was asked if he was prepared to renew Howard Stern’s contract given the current political climate over indecency.
Karmazin said, “Howard has two more years left under his contract. If he was interested in renewing today, I would renew it today.”
He told the Journal he believes Stern has been a “target” and that the company supports him
