Katz Radio Group Prez Renews Contract

Mark Gray will continue to expand radio opportunities

Mark Gray has extended his contract as president of Katz Radio Group, the radio representation company of the Katz Media Group.

Gray began his career with KRG in 1988 as an account executive, then moved up through the company to positions including general sales manager and vice president. He was named president of Katz Radio in 2001 before being promoted to his current role in 2006.

According to a release, he will continue to work with CEO Mark Rosenthal and the KRG team to continue to deliver high-level performance in the transactional arena and ensure that clients receive the best representation of their stations. He will also focus on expanding sources of radio revenue.

Gray serves on the board of directors for the Broadcasters Foundation of America, managing corporate membership. He also leads Katz Media Group’s annual employee membership drive, and Katz has raised more than $125,000 to aid broadcasters in need in recent years. He is also a member of the Radio Advertising Bureau’s executive committee and the board of trustees for the Alliance for Women in Media.

Katz Radio Group represents 3,000 radio stations and a variety of digital platforms across the United States and Canada. Its divisions include: Katz Radio, Christal Radio, Eastman Radio, Univision Radio, CBS Radio Sales, Entercom Radio Sales and Katz 360 Sales.
