FM station KDAY in Los Angeles has purchased an Orban Optimod-FM 8600 processor.
The sale was through dealer SCMS.
Chief Engineer Aaron Savage told the company, “Our old processor was not giving us the sound we wanted. I had spent the last 6 months tweaking the sound but was unable to find what I was after.” The purchase decision was made after a one-week demo.
SCMS helped complete the sale by accepting older and unused equipment as a trade-in.
