KRTH(FM) in Los Angeles, and Variety Club, the children’s charity of Southern California, raised more than $110,650 in the seventh annual “Care For Kids” Radiothon.
The Variety Club will distribute the money raised to local charities.
The seven-year pledge total is now just shy of $1 million.
The 18-hour Radiothon began June 23 at 6 a.m. with a live simulcast, hosted by Mark Kriski, and concluded at midnight. More than 200 children’s agencies and programs will benefit from funds raised.
