Kelly Goes to Cumulus Mobile

New program hosts in Dallas/Fort Worth

Cumulus Media has named Sid Kelly as program director for WABD(FM) in Mobile, Ala.

“After an extended search, we are thrilled to announce that Sid Kelly joins us as PD of WABD,” said Senior Vice President of Corporate Programming Jan Jeffries. “Sid has all the skills coupled with the intensity that this legendary station merits. Sid will also handle PM Drive. A special thank you to Hayden Green, operations manager at Cumulus Ft. Walton, who has been acting PD during the search. We look forward to Sid joining us on Monday, Oct. 19.”

Kelly has hosted morning shows at stations including WBHT(FM), Wilkes-Barre, Pa.; WRVQ(FM), Richmond, Va.; WVKS(FM), Toledo, Ohio; and most recently, at WAJI(FM) in Fort Wayne, Ind. He has also served as night jock at WXLK(FM) in Roanoke, Va., and at KSLZ(FM) in St. Louis.

In the Dallas/Fort Worth area, Cumulus Media made several show hosting announcements.

Jasmine Sadry will join the “Hawkeye in the Morning Show,” on KSCS(FM). Sadry has worked other Metroplex stops such as KRLD(FM) and KDGE(FM), along with posts for radio and TV in Austin and San Antonio.

Cumulus Dallas/Fort Worth Regional Vice President and Market Manager Dan Bennett said: “Jasmine is a unique talent with 12-plus years of market equity — which is something you don’t find with every hire.”

Also in DFW, Greg “Hondo” Robertson is the new host of the long-running weekend regional country music show “Front Porch Show” on KPLX(FM). Robertson recently hosted a public affairs show for area Cumulus stations, “Impact Texas.”
