Kenwood’s HD Radio Upgrade Ends Soon

Kenwood’s upgrade program – one that allows consumers to send in their original HD Radios for conversion to a model that can receive multicast signals – is ending soon.
The KTC-HR100 model is Kenwood’s original HD Radio, while the KTC-HR100MC is the unit that supports multicasting.
Consumers, including broadcasters, must send their units to be received by Kenwood by July 14 to qualify for this upgrade.
A Kenwood spokesman told RW Online that hundreds of receivers have been upgraded so far.
