WNYC reporter Allison Keyes has been named national reporter for “The Tavis Smiley Show” from NPR. Launched in January 2002, the show is a daily, one-hour magazine program hosted by author and broadcaster Tavis Smiley.
Keyes has served as guest host of the show, and has covered local politics for WNYC. She spent several years as a reporter for WCBS(AM) in New York.
Keyes has been honored by the Newswomen’s Club of New York and the National Association of Black Journalists for excellence in journalism.
