German supplier Klein + Hummel is out with a digital version of its bi-amplified nearfield monitor, called the O 110 D. The monitor is for use with digital mixing consoles, audio workstations and sound processing systems that require monitors with AES/EBU and S/PDIF inputs. Features include 24-bit word length resolution and a sampling rate of 32 to 96 kHz. It has a 2 x 4-position room EQ to adapt to various positioning and is magnetically shielded.
