Deborah Klein will be in charge of the FCC’s Media Bureau once Ken Ferree leaves Friday. Chairman Michael Powell named Klein acting chief of the bureau.
Klein has served as the Media Bureau’s chief of staff since 2002. Previously, she was chief of the Consumer Protection and Competition Division in the Cable Services Bureau.
