Radio Television Malaysia (RTM) recently took delivery of VADIS and Aeon systems from Klotz Digital.
Public service broadcaster RTM installed VADIS routers, VADIS DC II and Aeon on-air consoles at regional facilities in Kuching and Alor Star.
For the Kuching facility in Sarawak, Klotz Digital supplied a 256-×-256 router with five VADIS 888 units for the master control room (MCR) and two VADIS 212 frames.
RTM also installed five VADIS DC II consoles for four on-air studios and one backup studio, four Aeon-8 surfaces for the editing room and another two units for the record library in Kuching.
At the Alor Star facility in Kedah, RTM specified a 96-×-96 routing system with two VADIS 888 frames for the MCR, one VADIS 212 frame as a bypass router and another for the telecom switching room.
Klotz Digital also supplied a VADIS DC II for the on-air studio and two Aeon-8 consoles, one of which for the record library and the other for the editing room.
Completion of the installation is expected by year-end 2007.
