Kramer Promoted to Entercom COO

Focused on enhancing growth

Entercom Communications has promoted Louise “Weezie” Kramer to chief operating officer.

She’s been at Entercom since 2000, most recently as station group president. In this role, the company said she led the company’s reinvention efforts, focusing on enhancing growth and overseeing several Entercom markets.

Entercom President/CEO David Field characterized Kramer as “an enormously talented and effective leader who has made a huge impact on our organization.”

Prior to joining Entercom, Kramer has held leadership and management roles, including several positions with CBS. She is a past chair of the RAB board and the first woman to chair the RAB board. She currently serves on the RAB executive committee. In 2013, Kramer received the Frances Preston Trailblazer Award for Mentoring and Inspiring Women in Radio Group.
