Salem news/talker 870AM KRLA(AM) has boosted daytime power from 20 kW to 50 kW.
The station is at 870 kHz and serves Greater Los Angeles. Salem says the upgrade adds a potential listening audience of 1.3 million. Terry Fahy is Salem Los Angeles VP/GM.
The cluster has been working on coverage improvements. It recently tweaked the signal of KKLA(FM) at 99.5 as well.
