BIA Financial Network has updated its recent list of the top 10 revenue-generating stations. It said it did so “as a result of additional revenue information supplied to the company as part of its ongoing data mining and monitoring of the radio industry.”
“The change moves WLTW(FM) (New York) to fourth place from first, with $58.9 million in revenues and brings Los Angeles’ KROQ(FM) to first place, with $67.6 million …. WINS(AM) in New York placed second in the readjustment, with $60.8 million reported income,” BIA stated. Clear Channel’s KFI(AM) in Los Angeles was third.
The final seven stations in order are: WLTW(FM) (New York), KPWR(FM) (Los Angeles), WCBS(AM) (New York), KIIS(FM) (Los Angeles), WFAN(AM) (New York), WGN(AM) (Chicago), and KLSX (Los Angeles).
