KXPR to Use Jampro FM System

Deal includes frequency matched tower, transmission line

From the Who’s Buying What page of Radio World:

Jampro Antennas said it has won a “major contract” from classical station KXPR FM of Sacramento. The package is for a turnkey installation including a 500-foot tower, JHPC Penetrator FM antenna and Proline rigid transmission line. The antenna and tower will be frequency matched by Jampro.

The noncom educational station operates at 88.9 MHz and is part of the Capital Public Radio network.

The JHPC is a high-power FM version of Jampro’s Penetrator antenna. The company highlights the efficiency and coverage provided by the Penetrator-style radiating element with 3-1/8-inch shunt feed line.
