CBS Radio’s news station KYW(AM) teamed up with cable/Internet provider Comcast and its Internet Essentials program to donate a 10-piece laptop computer lab to the Police Athletic League’s Tacony Center.
CBS Radio Philadelphia SVP and Market Manager Marc Rayfield said, “By partnering with a community minded organization like Comcast for nearly 15 years, it is gratifying to assist organizations like PAL who help make a difference in the community and the lives of local children.”
This is the 14th year that the two have partnered in this effort. Each year a new community center or school is the recipient.
Rayfield added, “With these laptops it will enhance our continued support in PAL’s efforts throughout the year.”
